Art Education and appreciation are an ongoing part of our mission. Co-ordinated with Marble Falls schools, children benefit from demonstrations, classes and competitions throughout the year.

Paint The Town From March 31 – April 6, 2019

Each spring 40 Plein Air artists from across the nation will be working in various medium to capture the outdoor sights and scenes of historic Marble Falls and the panoramic Texas Hill Country that surrounds it. A very popular part of this week is a student competition with mentoring by participating artists and a nationally recognized judge presents the award winners.

Sculpture On Main

Marble Falls’ ever growing collection of public art is available to young art lovers 365 days a year. Sculptors from around the US are invited to install a piece of their work on or around the city’s Main Street. These sculptures remain for two years.

Street Fest: New public art will be installed this fall and a street festival, to be held November 9-10, 2018, will feature an extensive Sculpture Exhibit & Sale. Click here for more info.

Otocast is a smart phone app that facilitates discovery of recommended points of interest in the area, including our Sculpture On Main pieces. Otocast will enhance the experience as students stand before the sculpture and hear the artists describe the piece in his/her own words.

Otocast is like having a personal tour guide with you at all times!
